Each year we welcome the month of June with open arms and open umbrellas.Rainy days are here. Since we are already aware about the plash fact, we begin to find any outfit that would sustain the season. Though dressing for the rains seems gloomy, it really doesn’t have to be!
There are many ways to make a stylish approach each time you head out in this weather being not on your side!
Yes, Let This Rainy Season Be Completely Stylish!
GO FLORAL
Yes. In this dreary weather, go fresh with colors. Donโt let the weather speak for your style.
You can go the classic floral dress way or a simple skirt with floral top or maybe floral skirt with a floral top. Style it with a jacket cum raincoat. Let the floral game begin.
GO ALL BLACK
Many people think black isn’t the best color for this season. But with the sunny days gone, we donโt have to worry about wearing black as it is a weather friendly color for the season.
I am sure every girl must have that one black leather jacket, those one pair of leather pants in black in her wardrobe. If not, go buy one, because this is the most versatile and long lasting clothing you will ever invest on for good and more importantly, it is a statement for those who wear it. This is the beginning of wearing black in free spirit for the year ahead!
You can go out of your way in trying black. While wearing a black dress, style it with a mustard colored trench coat with a knee length boots. Let people go head over heels at you!
GO DARK
Going dark is standard. Though you donโt intend to be dour the look as the clouds in the season of course, wearing a dark color is always a good option in rainy season.
If you get stuck in the rain without a coat for some reason, your light clothes might become see through. Dark clothes save your day. Wear a pair ripped jeans with any dark shade of top, add style to it with a scarf in bright color. You are ready to flaunt your oh-so chic look!
GO WHITE
Hell yeah! So what if it is rainy? White is my favorite color! So, women out there who can relate with this will know how elegant and trendy this color would be even if it rains.
Be it a simple pair of jeans with a white top or maybe a white dress or a jumpsuit. White is the carefree color. To be cautious and trendy you can always style it with a scarf or a trench coat. Always own a classic trench coat. So what if you stay in a place that doesn’t happen to see rains, it doesn’t really mean you will never travel and see places in that weather.
You can also rock this look by wearing loafers for comfortable monsoon.
ROCK THOSE SHORTS
Denim shorts are to be out of your wardrobe this season. Nothing makes your monsoon worthwhile like those shorts. Be it a trip to Lavasa or a casual hanging out with friends. There is no going wrong with them. Pair them with any top or shirt and you are good to go! From boots to floaters whatever you wear will make a statement.
OPAQUE LEGGINGS
Opaque leggings are the newest style factor! Every girl owes it to herself to own at least one pair of them. There are days when we get tired of going out in those denims. As fascinating as it is wearing them, the thought of wearing them wet is no less than a nightmare. This is when these leggings act as an escape.
Well, honestly this is just an excuse! We girls love wearing them! They are apt pair clothing to be worn in rainy season when going shorts is not an option.
These can be styled in a zillion ways! Be it your leather leggings or otherwise, you can style it by wearing a jacket. Boots and sneakers are a way to go this season to add to the leggings styling!
CROPPED PANTS
Whether you reach for casual jeans or dressed-up trousers, try some cropped pants
so they don’t straggle on the dewy ground. This is a highly recommended style statement for the season. This is my personal favorite.
Just imagine, you can flaunt your tank tops, casual tops, jackets and the sexy crop tops all so easily by pairing them with a cropped pant or denim. They go best with sneakers. Do not restrict yourself with colors. Try different shades of pants.
Be innovative!
It is a go-to style statement.
KNEE LENGTH DRESSES
An occasion where you cannot wear your pants or shorts or for that matter even your short dresses, a classic knee length dress can save your day in a fashionable manner!
Style it with bright accessories, play with colors and yes your umbrella says a lot about your style! Pick one like a diva!
You can look super classy, super hot and versatile all at the same time!
ACCESSORIES
Accessories are no less than a wardrobe staple, be it any season. The same goes with monsoon. Keep it light and minimal on all possible occasions unless you are the bridesmaids ๐ Voylla.com is where you can check out some fun stuff.
SO GO HAVE FUN WITH YOUR WARDROBE THIS RAINY SEASON!

Amazing work with the pictures. The post is great but with so many options in the pictures I get a better outlook to how should I dress up in a more stylish manner. ๐

Love those red shies with the black outfit!! ๐ Ree Love30

Im far too messy to be able to wear white. I would be so mucky lol.
Haha. Ya I get it
I love your article & great work with the pictures!!!!
I am definitely the girl that goes ALL BLACK! Loved your post so many pretty fashion ideas.
Thank-you Breharne โบ
I love the all black trend!! Probably something I’l actually be doing.. LOL. Great post!
Thank-you. ๐
I love all the styles you presented. I also like all the photos you’ve compiled. Anyway, what won’t work in our country though are the trench coats and going all white. Trench coats are uncommon in my country as we only have two seasons – wet and dry. Meanwhile, going for an all white ensemble will only work if one stays indoors. We’re known to have floods so the white will turn brown before long.
I see! I hoped there is some style you might follow amongst the listed outfits. ๐
Completely agree with the context. Black is really a life-saver for a fashion junkie like me. I live in an area where you never know where you will have rain during the rainy season. An hour before there is a clear sky and after some time, you will be hiding under the black umbrella. Though I literally hate when I had to bear with wet legs during the monsoon. I actually needed cowboy boots and I got a pair at the reasonable rate from
Going dark and going black will always be my fave! I just avoid wearing dark colors when it’s summer because it’s said to absorb more heat than white or pastel colors. With rainy season here, I would avoid white clothes because for me, I’m not that very careful with white so it might end up having mud and/or splashes. But, this is totally a great list!
Thank-you Maria! ๐

I really have to spruce up my wardrobe a bit with these gems of ideas I found here… they are amazing and so stylish… only thing is can a 40 year old like me wear these. huhuhu
Of course! Just go for something that you are comfortable in. I am sure you can carry it well.
Wearinng white during the rainy season isnt for me, I guess. I love walking in the rain and I may end up too messed up in white. But I love the idea of wearing white. I also get thrilled with the floral ones. I love floral dresses. Ihihi. The black ensemble is a nice idea too as well as the cropped pants. How i wish i would look good wearing one. But first, i need to try.
Sure
I’m not really a fashionista but this rundown of outfit ideas for the rainy season makes me want to rush to the nearest tiangge/thrift store to update my wardrobe! I always go for cropped pants and knee length dresses, but not so much with white and florals. Too scared that the white may get dirt while walking along the streets. I do love just putting on pullovers and leggings because it makes me feel really comfortable and warm while outside.
Hehe. A fashionista is a women who puts comfort first so yes you are. ๐
Love those pics and the way you put them together! Yes, rainy season is STILL a season to dress up! Cropped pants are my favourite! ๐
Indeed, no season can stop one to be fashionable. I always only think florals for spring and summer. Haha. I’m such a messy walker so I will go for black and dark.
First of all you look awesome! Amazing photography I must say. I don’t like monsoon much but now I’ll give it a try to feel better about this weather. I am totally gonna wear white irrespective of the weather.
Thank-you so much Veethee ๐
I love these suggestions! I live in the Netherlands. (Which practically means: rain ALL THE TIME). So I need to be stylish when it rains ;). I love the floral ones. Happy even though it’s raining.
I hope these tips help you out. Thank-you Carola. ๐
I would go for white ๐ That dress is amazing !!! All your chosen outfits are stunning , the cropped pants are very much my thing as well . The floral prints would fit more my environment , as it never rains where I live. Out of these I would choose the one in the middle.
White is just what I love. Thanks Klaudia ๐
Knee length dresses are always so stylish and pretty. I feel grown up when I wear them! ๐ Ree love30
Yes they one classic piece! ๐
I love your whole collection here. I’m also like wearing dark during rainy days, and pop of colors or florals. NO reason to wear dull clothing!
Go dark for sure, even all black ๐ Knee length dresses and skirts are always stylish. Fantastic selection of tips!
Whoa! Amazing styles. I feel so outdated. ๐ ๐
Love the ankle boots and black outfits. ๐
You should try them ๐
